“Food is everything we are. It's an extension of nationalist feeling, ethnic feeling, your personal history, your province, your region, your tribe, your grandma. It's inseparable from those from the get-go.”
14 days after we met, we had the best meal of our lives. It was at a cozy tapas restaurant in Asheville, NC & we’ve been exploring our surroundings by taste ever since. We currently live in Eastern Tennessee and it’s our goal to explore our region even more, one restaurant, one recipe, one bite at a time. By day, we have regular 9-5 jobs but much of our time is spent talking about food and asking each other what we want to try next. It’s not uncommon to plan a meal at a specific destination weeks ahead of time in our world. This blog is our outlet to share with anyone that wants to know, what we cook at home, the best thing we have tried lately, and serve as an outlet to ask all of you what you think we should put on our “must try” list. Please enjoy our adventures with reckless abandon, like we try to do with every gastroventure we embark on!
